Our 6th grade Jags look forward to this special tradition each year, and this delicious lunch paired perfectly with all of the fun and color celebration festivities! 🌈🎉 It was such a memorable way to celebrate their hard work and send them off to middle school.

Day three of Teacher Appreciation Week was pretty sweet thanks to our amazing PTO-hosted Ice Cream Social! 💙🐆 Teachers had the opportunity to relax, connect with one another, and enjoy a delicious sweet treat together. 🍨

There was also a fun drawing filled with wonderful prizes that were purchased by PTO or generously donated by supporters of our school community. 🎁✨

Thank you to our PTO and everyone who contributed to making our staff feel so appreciated this week. Your kindness and support mean so much to all of us! 💛

Day two of Teacher Appreciation Week was extra yummy! A HUGE thank you to our incredible PTO for treating our staff to some of the best Mexican food in town—Los Chachos! 💙🐆

We might be a little biased since this amazing family is part of our JJ, Mountain Sky, and Thunderbird community—but truly, the agua frescas, tacos, quesadillas, rice, and beans were fresh and absolutely delicious. And on Cinco de Mayo—perfect timing! 🇲🇽✨

Our entire staff felt so appreciated and grateful for this thoughtful meal. Thank you, PTO, for always going above and beyond to support us! 💛

In April, we celebrated our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Driver, and showed our appreciation for the heart she brings to our beautiful library! 💙🐆

We started the week off right with a delicious hosted lunch from our amazing community partner, Lindsey Brumagin with BLOCK77! 💙🐆

Many of you may remember Lindsey as Ms. Acosta, a former kindergarten and third grade teacher here at JJ! She took a leap of faith—trading in her classroom keys for keys that open new doors for families—and we couldn’t be more proud of her! 🏡✨

Even with her new journey, Lindsey has never forgotten her JJ family. She’s always one of the first to welcome us back each school year and celebrate us during this special week. 💛

💙🍎 Paraprofessional Appreciation! 🍎💙

In April we celebrated the incredible paraprofessionals who make a difference in every corner of our campus! 🐆

From supporting small groups and one-on-one instruction 📚, to assisting with behavior support, supervision, and daily routines, our paras do it all. They help create safe, structured, and supportive learning environments where every student can succeed. 🌟

Their patience, flexibility, and dedication ensure that students receive the individualized support they need—academically, socially, and emotionally. Our classrooms simply wouldn’t run the same without them!
