It is with great pleasure to report that the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) Girls’ Equity Committee has selected Greenway Head Volleyball Coach Sarah Peterson as the recipient of the 28th Annual Women’s Leadership in Girls/Womens Athletic Award!

After 24 years of education, Ms. Vera has decided to retire from her teaching position at Greenway. She has taught all levels of Math and has been a core member of the faculty here at Greenway.

And so the 2024 XC Season begins with our first mini-camp. The runners have their summer mileage charts to start completing and the desire to start building their "base". Time to take those first easy miles along some weight lifting. We will meet Monday mornings at 6:00 am and Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm.

Every quarter, Greenway staff acknowledges students by giving them Demon Dollars for their display of trustworthiness, respect, responsbility, fairness, caring and citizenship. Those students who bring their Dollar to the principal's office receives a treat and is automatically entered in a raffle for prizes.

The Greenway Faculty Scholarship was revealed at the Awards Night last night...
This year's $500 recipient is Jacee Anderson!
Jacee earned a 3.98 GPA, she is the captain of Dance Line & Varsity Cheer, an officer for the National Honor Society, and a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts.
Jacee has been accepted to ASU’s top-rated dance program and plans to earn a BFA in Dance Education.
Thank you to all faculty members who participated in contributing to the scholarship.

The administration team feels privileged to share news about our students who have been awarded scholarship opportunities and awards as they continue on with their education after high school.
Just recently, Greenway senior, Daniel Tang was notified that he was selected as a winner of the National Merit Arizona State University Scholarship, and he has been named a Merit Scholar for the 2024 school year.

Exciting news from our school’s Fine Arts department! Our talented students in the Photography class just showcased their skills at the Skills USA Championship competition. We’re thrilled to announce that Grace Lindell was honored for her exceptional work and received 3rd place earning the bronze medal.
