What if Fridays could be more than just the end of the school week? At The Gifted Collective, Fun Fridays turn the day into an opportunity to learn, create, explore, and connect!

From 9 AM–3 PM, students can experience a variety of hands-on classes, including:
🎨 Arts
🎵 Musical Instruments
🛠️ Engineering & 3D Printing
🇪🇸 Conversational Spanish
💚 Health & Wellness

Plus, there’s a supervised lunch and downtime from 11 AM–12 PM where students can eat their sack lunch, read, relax, or play board games.

Today, The Gifted Collective pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who stepped forward to help others.

We remember the families whose lives were forever changed.

We remember the heroes who ran toward danger.

We remember the strength, compassion, and unity shown by communities across our nation.

As educators, we also recognize the importance of helping the next generation understand the significance of this day—not only the tragedy, but also the courage, service, sacrifice, and humanity that followed.

🌟 THE SCHOOL YEAR IS OFF TO A GREAT START AT THE GIFTED COLLECTIVE! 📚✨

There’s something special happening in our microschools! ❤️

Our students are settling into the new school year, making new friends, building connections, exploring new ideas, and discovering that learning can be both challenging AND fun.

🏫 Grades 3–8 Microschool
🎓 High School Microschool

With small classroom settings and personalized attention, students have opportunities to truly get to know one another, participate in meaningful discussions, ask questions, collaborate, and learn in ways that encourage their individual strengths and curiosity.

✨ New friendships are forming.
📚 New things are being learned.
💡 Curiosity is growing.
🤝 Connections are being made.
😊 And our students are enjoying the journey!

We love seeing our learners laugh together, learn together, encourage one another, and become part of a community where they can feel comfortable being themselves.

🌟 Smart Kids Need Friends Who Understand Them, Too!

Does your gifted or twice-exceptional child sometimes struggle to connect with peers, manage emotions, navigate friendships, or understand social situations?

Our Children’s Social Skills Group was created with these unique learners in mind. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all social skills class—it’s designed for gifted and 2e children who may also have autism, autism traits, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, or other learning differences.

💙 What makes this program different?

Small group. Consistent peers. Specialized support. A place where children can practice social skills while being understood for who they are.

Children will work on:
🗣️ Communication and perspective-taking
🤝 Friendships and peer relationships
🧠 Emotional awareness and regulation
💬 Handling conflict and misunderstandings
🌱 Self-advocacy and self-understanding

Meanwhile, parents participate in a FREE concurrent Parent Support Group—because supporting the child also means supporting the parent!

👧🧒 Generally ages 8–13
👥 Limited to 6–8 children
📅 8 monthly sessions, September–May
