We closed out the week with our Golden Lyrics school wide intercom game! Hit songs from the 2000s. Ms. Rodgers was in it to win it today!!! Ms. Bustamante would chime in school wide, play a lyric and staff had to call into her extension and finish the lyrics ; To add to that they had to be the correct caller number each time. Winners this year got to pull a golden envelope and win the prize inside. Prizes ranged from $25- $50, and donated an awesome gift bag for our event today too. It was such a fun and exciting way to end out the whole week of celebrating our amazing staff

This year we had a little fun and had staff nominate one another for our Sahuaro PTA Golden Awards! It was such a fun event, and we are truly grateful for all our staff on campus. Some categories were tight with a lot of strong nominations, and other categories were a clean sweep with a clear candidate across all staff members. No matter what almost all employees had a nomination thrown in, and that is what truly makes Sahuaro such a strong community to be a part of. 👑💚 💛🦅

Golden Sneaker Award - Tiffany Grass, everywhere all at once.

Golden Sticky Note Award - Michelle Mobley, filling our day with positive vibes.

Golden Whistle Award - Katherine Harding, keeping everything in order.

Golden Highlighter Award - Jennifer Mosher, making us all a little brighter and more colorful.

Golden Backpack Award - Michael O'Neil, always having everything we need!

Golden Heart Award - Camille Colglazier, pouring her heart into everything and everyone.

The school is BUZZING this morning! Everyone looks amazing and ready for pictures - Star bucks coffee was greeting all staff with coffees. The Gumball Machine with Staff fortunes Pins 🥠 were rolling, and the fortunes were on point for everyone! The intercom Golden Lyrics of the 2000's was under way with Ms.Wan & Mr.Kohn being our first 2 winners of the day. The campus looks AMAZING and so fun for tonight's Night of the Arts event PLUS Our staff Golden Award winners were announced and awards ready to go out - more pictures to follow!

Today is our Toe-tally Awesome Thursday! Staff and students are celebrating with wacky socks, crocs and flipflops! In the staff lounge there are fun hand made keychains and croc charms for our awesome staff who help us Step Up every day!

Yesterday the PTA hosted a light lunch for staff meetings. Everyone dove right in and got to work! Today our awesome staff is enjoying left overs with some Cold Pizza from Papa John's, Left over HTeaO and snacks.

Squeeze The Day! Staff Appreciation Week Day 2 is off to a great start! The first wave of staff are decorating and making their buckets of frozen Lemonade & there are flowers all over campus!

and sent our school some free wipes to help staff with any end of year classroom messes , our staff is supper appreciative!

Ms. Price's anything but a Vase is in her hair! Ms. Welch made a bucket with crayons for her flowers, and I can't wait to see what else other staff have come up with!

Tomorrow we are encouraging students to write a card and letters to all our amazing support staff on campus! Can't wait to see this flood in tomorrow, and the PTA will host a light lunch with Pizza, Salad and Tea for all staff tomorrow!
