Our team is celebrating in our favorite way – supporting the mission of St. Jude Children's Hospital. This year our directors, teachers, staff, school support center employees, families, and little tikes across the US raised $330,145 through small donations and sponsors to bike and trike in support of curing childhood cancer! This year's total brings Cadence Education's lifetime donation to $1,000,031!!! The annual company-wide and coast-to-coast Trike-a-thon provides an important lesson in generosity, teamwork, and bike safety to all that come to our schools and are part of the Cadence Education family. We believe in the power of and that together, nothing is impossible; this year's record-setting donation proves it. Today in K-Club, they were learning about predicting and graphing results. They talked about what would happen if they put different objects in water and if they thought it would sink or float. They really got creative with the things that they chose and they were so excited to see which would sink or float. They were able to graph their results and compare with their peers once they were finished. What a fun day in K-Club! 😀

Preschool Teacher Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
Must meet all state preschool teacher requirements
High level of flexibility and willingness to work within business hours
Previous experience as a preschool teacher or in a licensed daycare preferred
Child Development Associate or college degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related preferred

Preschool Teacher Job Responsibilities:

A Preschool Teacher will accept the philosophy of Cadence Education and will work as part of the teaching team to encourage a positive learning environment for all children within the center
Document and share with parents the important milestones in a child’s day
Collaborate with other passionate preschool teachers and leaders to implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum
Respect and observe children's interests. Intervene when needed to maintain safety. Enhance children's play with language, toys, and activities
Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate
Share ideas in planning a daily schedule which provides a balance of activities: quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor, etc.

We maintain the highest standards of quality care and education, and believe strongly in developing talent and supporting our staff every step of the way

The right candidate will be energetic and experienced in developing safe, fun, and nurturing environments for children and their families. Since children's needs are constantly changing, you must also be highly organized, flexible, and able to demonstrate compassion and patience at the drop of a hat.
Inspire a love of learning and make a positive difference in each child's development and growth by creating and leading educational programs for our children.

Create a safe, healthy, and welcoming learning environment.
Build trusting relationships and develop open lines of communication with staff, parents, and children. Supervise classroom activities in a proactive, patient, and loving manner.

Provide unparalleled customer service.
Ensure full compliance with Phoenix Children’s Academy curriculum, procedures, and standards.

Required Skills:

High school diploma or GED required for all Teacher positions
Childhood Development Associate (CDA) or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred for Lead Teacher roles
Hands-on teaching, caregiving, or leadership experience preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organizational abilities
High level of flexibility and willingness to work all shifts
Must be at least 18 years old
