Honoring those whose sacrifice made brighter futures possible for generations to come.

This Memorial Day, we remember the lives lost in service to our country and support the families and young children impacted by that loss: https://bit.ly/3RkdI4c

Our last Chapel of the year is always bitter sweet. I know all of our kiddos and families are excited for some time off this summer, but we hate to say goodbye to our families. We wish you a fun and restful summer!

This Month’s Chapel Theme: was Goodness. Jesus is good to others. We should be good to others just as Jesus is good to others.

“The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth.” ~Exodus 34:6

• In Chapel, we talked about how God is good and we can model his goodness by being good to others. We read “Should I Share my Ice Cream” by Mo Willems.

• In the Classroom, our children learned about being good to others. Teachers read books that help children learn to be good to others.

• As a school, we talked about how we are all connected and part of a community and we need to be good to eachother.

We should be good to others just as Jesus was. At home, you can do the following to help children learn to be good to others:

1. Talk to your children about how God shows goodness; that he loves his enemies and forgives sinners.
2. Talk to your children about doing good without expecting anything in return. Encourage children to fill their buckets by doing good for others.
3. Help your child engage in acts of goodness.
4. Serve others in the community (i.e., donate food , etc)
5. Model goodness – do good things for others
6. Volunteer with your child(ren) at a local charity to demonstrate goodness by helping others in need.

We had so much fun watching our chicks hatch and grow! We had 7 chicks hatch this year! Meet Salt , Pepper, Blacky, Smokey, Bo Peep, Maple, and Sunny. This year we even hatched a turkey! The chicks took 21 days but the turkey took 30 days. We were so excited to finally meet Mr. McStuffinz! Now it’s time to take them home to enjoy life on the farm!

Water Day was May 15th - We had so much fun on our new turf. The kids had plenty of room to run around and splash in the water. We can't wait to do it again next year. Thank you Ms. Denise for setting up this amazing event for us all to enjoy!
