Sending a huge thank you to our amazing school counselors and JAG students for putting on a tremendously successful career fair. I also want to thank all of the volunteers that came to share their careers and spark the interests in the minds of our youth with many possibilities for their future selves! We had over 20 different careers represented ranging from military, medical field, MMA fighter, Seamstress, Real Estate, Chemist, Veternarian, Dentistry, and Politics.

UPDATE: RUNAWAY JUVENILE : MATHEW DUBOSE DOB: 07/10/2009

DESCRIPTION: Mathew is 12 years old, 5 foot 7 inches, has brown eyes, brown curly hair and wears glasses.
INCIDENT REPORT NUMBER: 220511040
LAST SEEN : 05/12/2022 AT APPROXIMATELY 5:40 A.M.
LOCATION: an apartment complex in the area of 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road

UPDATE: Last known sighting of Mathew Dubose was on a surveillance video on May 12, 2022 at approximately 5:40 am at an apartment complex in the area of 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road, Phoenix, AZ. This is the last confirmed sighting of Mathew.

Additional tips continue to come in which are being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Bureau Detectives. Any tip that comes in from somebody who at the time, has their eyes on Mathew, will prompt an immediate police response.

Student Search Effort:

As we shared with you on Friday, Arizona Desert Elementary seventh-grade student Matthew DuBose has been reported missing. He was last seen playing basketball around 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 11 in the Amberlea area.

The Tolleson Police Department is asking for our community’s help in conducting a search for Matthew. If you would like to volunteer, please meet tomorrow, Sunday, May 15th at 8:00 a.m. at the Tolleson Elementary School District Office (9261 W. Van Buren). Sgt. Obed Gaytan is leading the search effort.

Matthew is about 5-foot-7-inches tall, wears glasses, and has brown eyes and brown curly hair. He was last seen riding his black and red bicycle and wearing his school uniform, along with a blue and black backpack. If you have any information that may be helpful in the search, please call 623-936-7186 right away.

We are deeply concerned for Matthew’s safety and are doing everything we can to assist in the search. Thank you for your support.
