🏀 The Nelson Warriors men’s basketball team has been ranked top-ten the first time in program-history, currently situated at #5 in the National Christian College Athletic Association’s (NCCAA) latest rankings. Sitting at 18-5 and riding a five-game win streak, in which they have broken the 100-point plateau in each of their previous four, the Warriors are 14-2 in their previous 16 games dating back to December 14. On January 31, history was made. 🥎

For the first time in Nelson AIC’s history, we had our very first Warrior Softball Game! This new program is being spearheaded by head Coach Jimmy Guiterrez. We are so excited to have this special edition to our campus and are thankful to our softball players and coaching staff for being at Nelson.

Our softball team took on Arizona Christian for their first game and beat them 7-2. Their next game is on Thursday (2/13) here in Phoenix, AZ! LET’S TO WARRIORS!! ❤️🤍🖤

📌Campus Involvement: I am a senior at Nelson University AIC. I have the privilege to serve the university as the student president of the Warrior Missions and Outreach programs. Since I’ve been in this position, God has really opened up my perspective about ministry and how important it is to serve others. I love the opportunity I’ve been given to travel and see different parts of the world.

❤️Favorite Memory: The laughs I’ve had with friends. God has given me good friends.

🎓After he graduates, he plans on pursuing continuing his education with a Masters in Christian studies. I also plan on evangelizing and preaching the Gospel anywhere God sends me.

A few weeks ago some of our students were able to help at an outreach at the Metro Indian Section Camp Meeting held at the Casa Blanca Assemblies of God church on the Gila River Indian Community.

What an amazing opportunity not only for us to minister, but for our students to learn how to love others well. Big shout out to our Missions and Outreach Department for allowing space for students to participate in these opportunities!

This is one of the unique opportunities every student has access to when becoming a Warrior at Nelson AIC! ❤️🗺️

Multiple times a week, our chapel experience at Nelson AIC brings our Warrior family together for moments of lively praise, reflection, God’s Word, and authentic community.

We are dedicated to engaging every Warrior who joins our family to have an environment where they can meet the true Christ through each chapel experience. We love our Warrior family! ❤️
