We’re getting close—but we still need 30 more volunteers to make this year’s NAWIC Block Kids Event a success.

This event gives kids a chance to explore construction, creativity, and problem-solving in a hands-on way. For many of them, it’s their very first introduction to the industry—and you can be part of that moment.

What you’ll do:
- Help set up or check in participants
- Host kid's activities
- Judge entries
- Be a friendly face that makes the experience memorable

No special experience is needed—just a willingness to show up and support.

3 Ways to Volunteer:
- Pack goodie bags | 4/15/26 from 3PM-5PM @ Bel-Aire Mechanical
- Event set up | 4/24/26 from 2PM-4PM @ Sun Valley Academy
- Competition Day Support | 4/25/26 from 8AM-1PM @ Sun Valley Academy

Our featured speaker, Kristen Siqueiros, CEO of Langston Security & Integration (LSI), will share practical insights on how technology is helping contractors create safer and more accountable jobsites. From access control and surveillance systems to emerging worker safety tools, this presentation will highlight strategies that protect both workers and projects.

• Practical strategies to reduce risk on construction sites
• Modern security solutions that protect workers and jobsites
