Academy of Math and Science - Desert Sky AMS Desert Sky is a free public charter school focusing on a well-rounded K-8 education.

Our mission is to teach students the factual knowledge, habits of mind, and reasoning skills needed to solve problems, succeed in post-secondary education, and improve the world they live in.

Shoutout to our birthday lady Ms. Garcia. It may be her birthday, but the learning never stops.

She executed a great modeling think-out-loud for her math lesson on identifying numbers greater within 5. Every student followed along and every student was able to provide correct answers. As students completed their work, she circulated to ensure everyone had the correct answers and the correct number formations.

We love to see the hard work!!
