One of the worst kept secrets around, been known for a few weeks but the official press release from Florida State University confirms that Florida State and Florida A&M will meet in Tampa on Monday, November 2nd to begin the season.

This game will be the first of two games, with Florida and Miami being the marquee Monday night showdown game 30 minutes after the FSU-FAMU game ends.

Miami and Florida met last season in Jacksonville, but Florida State and Florida A&M have not met since the 1991-1992 season.

Miami defeated Troy, 10-5 and will be in the winner's bracket game tonight against Florida.

But a win, even if you are playing until after the bars and clubs close in Gainesville is a win. Miami advances in the Winner's bracket and will take on the Florida Gators tonight in Gainesville.
