as FCCLA Member of the Month for her
exceptional leadership and dedication to both her
chapter and the community. As the chapter
president, she exemplifies the true spirit of
leadership, consistently guiding our team with
enthusiasm, positivity, and a clear vision for
success. Hanna's commitment to the goals and
values of FCCLA is unwavering, and she takes on
her responsibilities with grace, always making sure
the members feel supported and motivated to
succeed.
In addition to her leadership role, Hanna dedicates
much of her personal time to volunteer work. She is
a regular presence at both community and campus
events, always going above and beyond to
contribute and make a meaningful impact. Whether
it's organizing events, participating in fundraisers,
or simply offering a helping hand, Hanna's work
ethic and willingness to contribute never go
unnoticed. Her enthusiasm inspires others to get
involved, creating a sense of camaraderie and
unity among the group.
Hanna also makes a remarkable impact at Little
Hawks Preschool, where she generously
volunteers her time to work with children. Her
dedication to supporting the preschool reflects her
passion for helping others, especially young
learners. By giving up her free time to be present
and engaged with the children, Hanna is not only
building stronger community ties but also serving
as a positive role model for her peers.
Finally, what truly sets Hanna apart is her
infectious, bubbly personality. She brings a sense
of joy and optimism to every task, making even the
most challenging moments feel lighthearted. Her
positive attitude boosts the morale of everyone
around her, creating an environment of inclusivity
and collaboration. Hanna’s energy and enthusiasm

Congratulations to our 2024 December Member of the Month Regina Martinez from Youngker Education Professions!

"Regina is my chapter's Vice-President and a
complete rockstar whenever anything needs to be
done.
This is the 2nd year we have had our chapter's
CTSO. Last year, our very first year, Regina played
an integral part of growing our membership. She
was our Historian/Social Media Manager. She
documented all the fun things we were doing and
then put them out onto our Social Media and used
them in our promotional items. She was at every
single chapter development activity and was the sole
face of our program on our Future Freshman night.
Thanks to her hard work, we grew our program by 5
members this year. All of her hard work has carried
over into this year. She moved up to the VicePresident position and has supported our President
on elementary school visits, lunch club rushes on
campus, at community Trunk-or-Treats, and in
running our club meetings.
Additionally, she is a driving force for our crafty
fundraisers like selling ribbon roses and origami
flowers. She was the highest earner in our online
Vertical Raise Fundraiser, and is positively vocal
about the program and all the good it does.
She has overcome her anxiety of public speaking to
be in this role and I am so incredibly proud of her. I
am so happy that I get to have her one more year!"

Congratulations to our November Member of the Month, Vanessa Valverde from San Luis Culinary Arts!

" Vanessa has been a San Luis Culinary Arts chapter member since her sophomore year. She has taken the initiative to learn everything there is to know about FCCLA. She helps her fellow chapter members, other FCCLA Chapters on our campus, and even me sometimes to understand anything and everything. She is also our CTE Leader, representing our class within our district and occasionally in different organizations such as SkillsUSA and FFA. She won a bronze medal in the state Leadership conference in 2023 and learned from her mistakes, obtaining a gold medal the following year. She has spent her high school career being part of this organization and taking initiative in many aspects, including running for state officer. Despite not making it, that didn't diminish her passion for the organization but rather ignite it more. If I could describe her in one word, it would be Passionate. She dedicates everything she does and isn't afraid to help those around her. She has even advocated for the local city council about FCCLA and its mission. I have never met anyone that has been this dedicated, passionate, and kind hearted. This girl is one of a kind and those who have met her know that."

Congratulations to our September Member of the Month, Elizabeth Outz from Estrella Foothills Education!!!!

"Elizabeth's dedication is truly remarkable, making her one of the most outstanding members I've had the pleasure of working alongside. Following her impressive performance at Nationals, where she brought home a gold medal, Elizabeth dedicated her summer to exploring ways our organization could give back to the community, fundraiser effectively, and successfully implement a National Program.

This year, she has taken the lead on our ShoeDrive fundraiser in partnership with Funds2Org, while also excelling as our exceptional social media director, showcasing the positive impact our organization is making. Elizabeth's commitment to FCCLA extends even further with her aspiration to become a state officer this coming year. Her lind heart and passion for our mission makes her incredibly deserving of this award."

We are excited to announce your 2024 August Member of the Month, Shannon Silver!

"I am writing to nominate Shannon Silver for the FCCLA Member of the Month award. Shannon has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and passion for the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) throughout involvement.

Shannon has been an active member of our chapter for 3 years, during which she has contributed significantly to the success of our projects and initiatives. She has shown a remarkable ability to inspire and motivate peers, leading by example, encouraging others to engage in FCCLA activities and most importantly daring to dream.

This month our chapter began to prepare for the new year with an almost entirely new officer team. Our chapter is used to new team struggles such as struggling to adapt to new people, or undetermined goals/plans, however that has not been as big an issue this year. Shannon has stepped up and acts as a role model on how to respect authority, communicate, and be professional. Thanks to her guidance many of our new officers are understanding what it means to represent FCCLA and our school.

Not only has Shannon been fulfilling her own responsibilities, but she has also willingly accepted extra responsibilities as new officers are still in training. Her assistance has helped expedite many early year club business operations, such as lengthy paperwork protocols.

Beyond FCCLA Shannon has been an exceptional teacher to our culinary students this year. Without having to be asked she takes ownership of every activity or kitchen lab and ensures their success. Many of our culinary students have shown an affinity for Shannon over our other advanced students due to her constant work and recognition with them.

Before choosing to nominate Shannon, all of our officer team were individually asked who they would nominate. All of our officers recognized the effort and passion Shannon has been putting into her work.

It is for these reasons that I believe Shannon is an exemplary candidate for the FCCLA Member of the Month." - Tombstone Adviser Wendy West
