In memory of a legend in SCA’s history and heritage, Mr. Astor Stave. Our condolences to all of Mr. Stave’s family and friends. Mr. Stave had a long history with SCA. Aside from being a parent, grandparent, and former board member, he was instrumental in assisting SCA with the process of finding their new campus when the 51 freeway was being planned through the old campus. For those who have not seen our 50-year anniversary video from a few years back, the link is included and features an interview with Mr. Stave. Mr. Stave was a great friend to SCA, and to many of us personally. He is in his eternal home with many of his dearest friends but will be greatly missed here.

Will you join us in prayer as the legislative sessions continue to take place into the foreseeable future concerning parental choice of your children’s education in Arizona? Let’s gather in person for 30 minutes of prayer time on Tuesday, May 14th at 5:00 pm sharp in the Cafeteria. We all know that our Lord and Savior hears our prayers and can truly move the hand of God. We all know the importance of parental choice for your children’s education, and all of us who know and feel the importance of a Christian education should gather together in prayer. It is important your voices are heard in defending the ESA and STO programs. Please consider supporting parental choice of your children’s education by praying with us in community. We look forward to having you join us in unity as we come together in prayer.
If you are not able to join us, please make this a matter of prayer in your personal prayer lives.
Join us in a land of pure imagination! 🎩🍬🍫

Colorado Christian University performed an incredible concert Monday night. The students’ passion for Christ and music showed in every note. Thank you, CCU band, for blessing the SCA band and string ensemble students with your music and for giving them the great opportunity to play and fellowship with you. SCA Alumni Kayla Kenders is one of the band members at CCU. It was great to see Kayla pursuing and excelling at her God-given talents beyond SCA.
Our Middle School Choir did a fantastic job last night at the ACSI Choir Festival at Calvary Chapel Christian School in Los Angeles. Out of nine choirs, the students received the highest possible award, a "Superior" — and that was also with being the smallest choir. They were leaders in glorifying our Lord. Congratulations!
The Colorado Christian University band dedicated the entire day to our campus, performing for our music classes and assisting our SCA band and string ensemble members in developing their skills. The CCU band will be performing at 7 pm tonight in the SCA Fine Arts Courtyard. Join them for a night of great music!
