Glen has been working with the INVRT Bandoleer from .us to find the situations it works well in. Moving forward it will be continually used in training and in competitions, and personally as a truck rig and camping rig. For a quick reaction kit it's a great setup, and the move from inverted magazine to reload into the firearm is fast and efficient from all shooting positions tried thus far. Retention has been perfect, also now adding the retention bungees from IC13 because max retention of all equipment is a good thing. Much more comfortable than rolling around in a chest rig or plate carrier, of course, and as shown it works perfectly with a small assault pack (without pistol mag in shoulder pouch).
A short video going over Glen's particular setup is coming soon, if you're curious - a few little things that aren't covered by IC13 when they ship the INVRT.

Red Dots on Handguns
It’s safe to say that red dots on hand guns have now become a common practice for most shooters instead of being a more niche item like they were in the scene 10 or so years ago or so. Here are some reasons why running one helps:
* Quicker point of reference to pick up when shooting quickly.
* Clear & precise dot to pick up in low light/no light environments.
* Easier to see for those with degrading vision.
* Easy to pick up & utilize under night vision.

How to integrate your Iceflask into your Ruck
Today, Justin shows us how he utilizes the / Iceflask into his Ruck.
He likes utilizing the Iceflask in this ruck to be able to store these in the internal side pocket keeping these tight to the sides while not impeding on external real estate or messing with the internal set up you have.
He sets up these ice flasks with 80% water, 10% coconut water, 10% Gatorade, & 2 salt packets per Flask. He then freezes them and lets them thaw while in use to ensure they stay cool to help keep you hydrated while rucking.
Using these in conjunction with a 3L Camelbak is what he uses for anything 40 hours or less while in the field.
Do you have a use for this Iceflask? If so, let us know how you’d use it below!

Quick tip on doing an admin unload with a fully loaded or partially loaded AR-15 magazine. You might need to unload the magazine like this if you're gonna switch ammunition or unload the magazine for transportation or maintenance purposes. Make sure you use an FMJ or OTM round to avoid damaging an SP or ballistic tip round.
Thanks to John from for teaching this to me many years ago.

How do you keep your EUD/TAK device powered?
When running your TAK device on your plate carrier or chest rig, make sure to integrate the auxiliary battery pack seamlessly so it can charge unimpeded.
Justin showcases his AVS with EUD device linked in. You can see how the cables are managed properly to ensure the snag hazard is reduced to a minimum. Beyond that, you can see how the cables rest in a way that doesn’t interfere with his other pieces of kit.
Although you might have less equipment to manage, ensuring your charging and routing solution is streamlined will only help you in the long run.
How do you manage your auxiliary charging solution for a TAK device on your kit? Let us know below!

Remote work and recreation sometimes need comms ability - especially for emergencies. Do we want to get away from it all sometimes? Yes! And that's why the Mini has an 'OFF' button.

Drew rocking 220 yard target while checking recoil management of the Team Rifle and then the Run-N-Gunner Pro. Both guns fed by MK262 77gr SMKs, slightly different optics but watch the visible difference in recoil management and listen to the rate of fire difference. Both rifles are incredibly flat shooting, and l while the Team Rifle is obviously better (and fueled by parts), the price tag also reflects that. Thanks to for letting us put his rifles through the paces.

Are Pistol Comps worth it?
Recently, Justin picked up a RamJet/Afterburner combo to try on his G***k 19. The intention was to see if a comp would be a feasible tool to use in a tactical & practical way outside of a competitive setting.
So far, the results are interesting. The recoil reduction is felt almost immediately, but so is the increased muzzle flash (especially under NVG’s). The over all Length is only increased about 3/4 of an inch and is the exact same size as a G***k 17 slide after installed. You feel the most difference when shooting longer strings of fire, but overall I feel as though this is not a necessary upgrade. The recoil reduction is nice, but it comes at the cost of significantly increased muzzle flash & longer slide/barrel overall length.
We want to hear your $0.02! Do you love the Ramjet/afterburner combo? Do you have another pistol that’s comped that you love? Let us know your opinions on pistol comps below!
