A huge THANK YOU to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for hosting our latest professional development day and a special shout out to Dr. Caroline Sabatino for taking her lunch break to show us around the audiology department that many of our students visit multiple times a year for all of their audiological needs.

Dr. Sabatino took us through the process of a typical audiology appointment - including sound booth testing, interpreting an audiogram, and so much more.

I think it’s safe to say we all feel better prepared, more knowledgeable, and have a fresh perspective on the other half of what our students with hearing loss go through to have optimal access to sound allowing them to access listening and spoken language!
