Huge shoutout to our very own SSO, Officer Steele, for dropping into the Transition Exploration classroom today! 👏✨

Officer Steele led an awesome, interactive lesson focusing on two big topics:

🔹 Law for Kids: Unpacking what a School Safety Officer really does—serving as a trusted mentor, protector, and campus ally.
🔹 Mind Your Manners: Discussing how everyday respect, kindness, and strong habits set students up for lifelong success beyond the classroom.

🐾 Welcome Back to Vista Peak, Pepper! 🐾

We are beyond excited to welcome our favorite four-legged teammate back to campus!

Pepper has been bringing calm vibes, warm comfort, and endless joy to Vista Peak, and we couldn't be happier to have our star therapy dog back in action.

Here is a quick refresher on everyone’s favorite pup:

The Journey: Adopted in 2019 and officially certified as a therapy dog in 2022.

The Mix: 50% American Pit Bull Terrier, 100% sweetheart.

Top Favorites: Cruising with the windows down on car rides and receiving non-stop belly rubs.

Not a Fan Of: Loud thunder and fireworks (we totally get it, Pepper!).

Whether you need a peaceful moment to decompress or just want to swap a quick tail-wagging hello, Pepper is ready to spread the love.

Welcome back, Pepper! Make sure to give a warm wave (and maybe a gentle belly rub) when you see Pepper around campus! 🐶❤️

Halfway through Week 1, and the energy on campus is off the charts! 🎒✨

There is truly nothing quite like the start of a new school year. Seeing our students fill the classrooms, jumping headfirst into hands-on activities, and bring our campus back to life has been the absolute highlight of our week.

A huge thank you to our incredible teachers, staff, and students for making this first week back so vibrant and welcoming. Let’s keep this momentum going.

🚀 Today, Mrs. Christensen’s 6th & 7th grade students jumped straight into engineering on their very first day of school! 🛠️ Students put their design thinking, and problem-solving skills to the test right out of the gate.

We are so excited for a year full of building, testing, and creative thinking! 💡
