Last week we welcomed Mrs. Den Dulk as our new 4th grade teacher. Let's get to know her a little more.

As a kid, what did you want be when you grew up?
As a kid I wanted to be a teacher and a mom!

What is something you are certain you’ll never experience?
I would love to experience riding an elephant

How many states have you visited? And what state do you most want to explore?
My favorite state that I have visited was Hawaii when I was able to be a teacher’s assistant at a Christian school there for their summer school.

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
If I didn’t have to sleep, I would explore new places, try new hikes, experiment with new recipes, do more DIY projects, and spend more time with my family!

What is one of your favorite memories of being a student?
I first came to PCS as a 4th grade student and graduated from PCS! After college, my first job was teaching 6th grade here at PCS and now I am back a few years later teaching 4th grade!

How did you come to PCS PreK-8?
One of my favorite memories of being a student here was at our Fall Festival and it was the 50th anniversary so us middle schoolers learned a 50’s swing dance routine, dressed in poodle skirts, and performed it to everyone. It was such a blast!
