Amazing night at the DVUSD Governing Board Recognition Ceremony! Senior IB student Felicity Burton is a National Merit Finalist and IB TOK and PPS teacher, Al Pepe is an Arizona Family's Silver Apple Award Winner. Thank you to Kai, Samanatha, Felicity and Karyleni who recognize as well as many other students how wonderful Mr. Pepe is!! Although it appears to be just your average trip to the ...when in reality it's masterminds compiling data for their IB Collaborative Science Project. Topics include animal environment and behaviors, animal habitats and pH levels, considerations of rock and soil composition and quality, placement and ecological design of shaded structures, sun exposure and bacterial growth, etc.
