West Side Percussion WSP, is an initiative to expand the local belly dancing and drumming community. Providing free drumming lessons, apps, youtube tutorials to those who wish to learn. We meet most every week weather permitting at Sweetwater park on 75 th ave in Peoria.

While the weather is nice. I am doing a free open class.

Every thursday @ 530 to 730 on the west side.
This is outdoors so bring your drum,water,chair, jacket.
from just starting out to advanced.

if you're already good come and collaborate or help me teach.

I am doing this to help those who can not afford lessons.
Also to give back to the community by keeping this art form alive by sharing our passions for music and the dance community.

Too many times we have drums just collecting dust and we wait until a drum circle or event to take them out to play.
This is not the time to practice at the expense of others.

Even if you have a natural talent or play other things.
It still takes a certain amount of time before becoming proficient at any instrument.
While it is true, you can learn online.
Nothing can take the place of collaborating with others that share your passion in person.
