Congratulations to our first Avanzando Scholars! The Avanzando Scholarship was launched in 2024. The new scholarship supports students who previously received a Phoenix Union Foundation for Education non-renewable Scholarship with the aim to continue to support the scholars’ continued pursuit of their education.

These scholarships range from $1,000-$1,500. They are a one-year award with the potential to reapply until the scholar completes their undergraduate program or vocation training.

Scholars awarded must show a commitment to their degree attainment and involvement on campus, the community, or work.
