We invite you to join the movement of ALA friends who are supporting our students at the 2024 Boots & Bling Gala!

Not sure WHAT to donate? Get together with a few friends from your church, Bible Study, or Book Club, and put together a "Children's Book" package! Donate a few of your childhood favorites and add a few bedtime snacks. Moms & Grandmas would love to bid on that!

Get more ideas at Please donate by March 8.

🎶 Join us for our next ALA Sunday!

ALA Sundays are worship services at churches around the state of Arizona. The service includes music by the A Ca****la choir, student Bible readers, a message by Pastor Brad Bode, and a few words about ALA by Principal Kurt Rosenbaum. We pray that God will use these worship opportunities to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.

And they're off to run a 100K! 😲

Keep these two young men, both Seniors here at ALA, in your prayers. The run begins at 8:00am on February 10.

What's the longest race you've ever run?

Coach St Germaine shared a JV basketball season-end recap:

"One of my greatest privileges at ALA is coaching in our girls basketball program. The girls I serve are hardworking, competitive, and successfully balance their life as a student-athlete while still prioritizing their relationships with Jesus. I am constantly amazed at how much I get to watch them grow and mature within our basketball program. This year, the girls faced plenty of challenges: long road trips, illnesses, and exhaustion from the demands of school and sport. However, I got to witness those young ladies pull together and support each other through these challenges. Many of the girls come in worried about what they will do during the season on an individual level. I watch them mature and realize so many positive aspects of teamwork that I firmly believe can only be taught through sports.

While I don't measure the success of a season through wins and losses, we finished with a winning record of 12-3. Had we not had two of our last games cancelled, I'm confident we would actually be a 14-3 team!

Our success is not in the win column. I consider our season successful because of the growth in team mindset among the girls, the amazing growth in basketball skills, and the character they have built over the course of the season. I pray that the basketball program can continue to be a blessing to some of our young ladies on campus. It is truly my privilege to be a part of it."

, let's give them a round of applause. 👏👏

It’s Thankful Thursday, and we’d like to give a shout out to all our high school volunteers in CWLK Kids. Can you believe over 40 teens take time to serve in the children’s ministry program here at CrossWalk?! Each one brings their unique skills and talents. This gifted group from Arizona Lutheran Academy faithfully serves in the preschool classroom. Their kindness and leadership abilities don’t go unnoticed. Thank you, high schoolers, for making an impact!

Today's post is a favorite Bible passage from our girls JV basketball coach, Coach St Germaine.
