Our first Mission Club trip is underway to Idaho Falls, Idaho!

This group is working with Truth In Love Ministry. Their first tourist spots included a visit to the Snake River and downtown Idaho Falls with Mrs. Nushart's group from Winnebago Lutheran Academy.

Fun fact: Mrs. Nushart taught at Arizona Lutheran before she got married. Do you know her maiden name?

Dear Lord,

1️⃣ Thank you for the dedication of our teachers and coaches. May they humbly understand the impact of their faithful service.

2️⃣ Bless the coaches and students who are attending the Baseball/Softball Camps this week.

3️⃣ Bless the coaches and students who are attending the Girls Volleyball Camps this week.

4️⃣ Bless our new and returning athletes as they condition and practice over the summer.

5️⃣ Be with students who are traveling to Idaho Falls on a Mission trip.

6️⃣ Be with students who were injured this school year. Grant them a full recovery.

7️⃣ Be with students who are traveling to Peru on a Spanish Immersion trip.

Where does the "family" feel show up here at AZ Lutheran? Everywhere! In the hallways, on long road trips, and when serving at new places on Student Service Day!

Alumni Men's Basketball Game 2026 is in the books.

✅ Over 25 alumni, including grads from the 80s to 2025
✅ One flew in from WI
✅ A handful drove across the state
✅ One class of 2026 coach
✅ Three teams
✅ At least 10 guys who kept their own stats (or maybe all of 'em?!)
✅ One airball (that we saw)
✅ Countless laughs
✅ Tons of reconnection in the stands and on the court

High school is a critical time in our children’s lives. It’s when students finish their foundational education and choose the next step in their lives: college, career, or workplace. At this year’s commencement, our graduates stood as one, wearing newly designed caps, gowns, and stoles to symbolize their shared experiences here at AZ Lutheran. But look a little closer, and you’ll also see cords and medals to represent academic successes and hints of traditional family-history peeking out from beneath their robes.
