Our school leadership makes it a priority to be present in students’ daily lives—checking in, having conversations, and building real relationships that go beyond the classroom. These small but meaningful interactions help create a welcoming and supportive school environment.

Mrs. Fleming is introducing **volleyball to our 5th-grade students** in a fun and engaging way! 🏐🎈 Students are starting with balloons to practice **balance, control, coordination, and keeping the ball in the air** before transitioning to volleyballs. It’s a great way to build confidence and learn the fundamentals while having fun!

At Scholars Academy, we believe that education is about more than academics. We are committed to helping students develop the character traits they need to become responsible, respectful, and successful individuals both in and out of the classroom.

Character traits are the positive qualities that guide how we think, act, and treat others. They help students build meaningful relationships, make responsible decisions, overcome challenges, and become leaders within their school and community.

This school year, we will intentionally focus on developing these important character traits through classroom activities, daily interactions, school-wide activities, and positive role modeling. Each month, we will also hold a assembly to recognize and celebrate that month's character trait. Be sure to keep an eye out for the assembly dates on our school calendar!

At Scholars Academy, all faculty members are required to maintain current CPR and First Aid certification to help ensure the safety and well-being of every student on our campus.

This past week, we certified our newest team members and provided a refresher course for our returning staff. We are proud to have our very own certified trainer on staff who leads these trainings, giving our team hands-on instruction and the confidence to respond in an emergency.

The safety of our students is always a top priority, and we are committed to making sure our staff is prepared when it matters most. ❤️
