Hi piano friends. Just wanted to pass along that I joined Zelle as of yesterday, June 6. Its an easy payment platform for use between cel phone contacts. Seems to work well. Paypal is still an option. Excited about summer, I'm sure you are too. We'll start up again of June 13th. Yay for end of school!

Margie and I wanted to look ahead and keep you in the loop about summer piano plans, vacations and schedule changes (if desired).

Our last week of the spring piano schedule will be June 7-10. The following week (June 14-20) we’ll take a week off and catch our breath (after a wacky year) and start up again on Monday, June 21.

Since it’s summer we expect you will be taking some time off for vacations, out-of-town visits etc. As usual, just let us know when you’ll want to be out. Also, since school isn’t an issue, you may want to reschedule your lessons to an earlier time in the day (it’s cooler, rest of the day is free…) and that is fine. Pat will be at the store Monday and Thursday and at home Tue and Wed. Margie is the opposite, at the store Tue and Wed and at home Monday and Thursday. If your present lesson time is best for you, we can keep it where it is. Think it over and let us know what you would like.

Hope you have a great summer! We’ll try to schedule a couple of piano parties in August. Blessings to you and your families!

Hi dear piano friends, once again the paradigm has shifted for piano lessons in this age of Covid-19. While Margie and I plan to contact everyone individually, we want to let you know that we going to give piano lessons a go via Skype beginning March 30. We could also do this by video chat on Messenger if that better for you. Hopefully we can keep the same lesson times and that one one of these options will work for you. (I have a colleague who does this routinely, so its not unprecedented:-). I think that it would be great to keep everyone going and give our kids (adults too) a mental focus in the coming weeks. Hi wonderful piano families, Just a quick note to say that we are taking Mar 23 to 27 off for spring break (as planned long ago). I know schools are taking off a lot more than that, if they return at all this year!

Margie and I are planning to carry on piano lessons with disinfectant wipes on the keys, hand sanitizers and social distancing--as much as that's possible with kids. So far so good. Obviously no piano parties or recitals.

We also understand and respect your desires to stay at home if that seems best. We'll be in touch week to week. In the meantime we want to be good citizens, careful of your well-being and roll with the punches. We know God is good all the time and He can use even this for good. Blessings to you!

Fun piano party is scheduled for Saturday morning, Nov 9, 10am at Artistic Piano. Piano and cookies. Possibly healthy food too. You're invited!

Be sure to check out the first of our new performance classes/parties this Friday, Sept 28. Will do them the last Friday of every month at Artistic Piano at 6:30. Even if you don't play something, you are welcome to come and listen. See you there!

Hi friends!
Margie and I are looking ahead to the end of the school year and want to share with you upcoming plans and schedules for piano lessons. First, recital times: we have two opportunities to choose from, Saturday, June 3rd at 6pm or, Tuesday, June 6th at 7pm. Both will be held at Artistic Piano in Medford. We’ll print some sing-up sheets and reminder notices. Be thinking about which date is best for you.
We won’t be teaching on Memorial Day, May 29, and we are going to take the week of June 12 to 16 off. That should give everyone a welcome breather from a busy academic year! We will begin our summer schedule the week of June 19th. Hopefully we can schedule everyone Monday through Thursday. I will be in Medford Mondays and Thursdays; Margie will be in Medford Tuesday and Wednesday and both us us are at home teaching in Phoenix when we’re not in Medford. We know that there are more frequent days/weeks off for vacations in the summer and will, of course, accommodate your travel plans.
We are so blessed to have you learning music with us! Be seeing you soon…
