Paradise Valley Community College's Music Program is holding auditions for Fall student rock bands. We are looking for passionate musicians from ages 12 and up to join one of the many bands, including rock, metal, indie, singer-songwriter (originals), and new ska and pop punk bands.

All ages, ability levels and instruments are welcome and encouraged to audition. Limited scholarships are available to cover all costs.

Bands begin rehearsals the week of September 7th, run 14-weeks through December 13th, and have three performances during the semester.

Appointments will need to be made for June 25, 26, and some of the day on June 27; the final three hours of the sale, Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m., do not require an appointment.

Founded in Fall 2001, Paradise Valley Community College’s Music Program will proudly celebrate its 25th Anniversary during the Fall 2026 semester—a milestone marking a quarter-century of exceptional music education, inspiring performances, and transformative learning opportunities.

To commemorate this landmark occasion, the program will present a series of special performances, events, a gallery exhibition, and an alumni career panel that showcase the rich history and lasting impact of music at PVCC. These celebrations will honor the achievements of the faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners whose dedication, creativity, and collaboration have helped shape the program into a vibrant center for artistic excellence over the past 25 years.

All faculty, staff, students, employees and community members who have participated in PVCC's music program over the last 25 years are encouraged to join us.
