Congratulations are in order for the Paradise Valley High School (PVHS) Tri-M Music Honor Society! They were named 2025-26 Tri-M Music Honor Society Chapter of the Year following an incredible series of impactful community service projects.

The talented student-musicians hosted educational field trips, performed at assemblies at Palomino Intermediate and Whispering Wind Academy to inspire future band, choir, and orchestra students, and organized a benefit concert that raised over $1,500 for Make-A-Wish Arizona! ❤️

is proud to celebrate Lilian Cortez Felix, a 2026 Paradise Valley High School graduate and the district's first Student Rocky Mountain Emmys Nominee! Lilian's short film, "A Place to Belong," was created in her senior year and received a nomination alongside dozens of other entries from across four southwestern states. This excellent achievement highlights the creativity and dedication of students in Paradise.

The awards ceremony will take place on September 19 at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix. Join us in cheering on Lilian for this well-deserved media recognition, which has also earned accolades from the West Valley Film Festival and the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association!

Chosen as one of just 50 teachers nationwide, Mrs. Tornquist received a competitive scholarship covering full tuition, course materials, lodging, and access to historical sites.
