Vendor applications are officially OPEN for the 2026 Winter Marketplace at Mercury Mine Elementary! 🎄✨
Do you have a small business, handmade goods, delicious treats, or something fun and unique to share with our school community? We would LOVE to have you join us!

And we especially want to see more of our student entrepreneurs! ❤️ We currently only have 2 student vendors signed up, so if your child makes crafts, jewelry, art, treats, slime, accessories, or has their own little business, encourage them to participate!

❄️🎄 Holidays in September?! Yes, you read that right! 🎄❄️
Our beloved Snowflake Program is kicking off EARLY this year so we have even more time to come together and support our Mercury Mine families during the holiday season. ❤️
📅 September 14–30, keep an eye out for the Christmas trees in the courtyard and grab a Snowflake tag! Each tag will ask for a $25 gift card to Target, Walmart, or Fry’s. Simply purchase the gift card and return it to the front desk.
🎁 Our goal is 80 gift cards!
Every gift card collected will go directly toward helping MMES families experiencing hardship and making their holidays a little brighter.
✨ Walmart gift cards are especially helpful for our families, but Target and Fry’s are wonderful too!
Mark your calendars for September 14 and help us spread a little extra kindness this year. 💙❄️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out for our Sonic Dine Out! Because of you, Mercury Mine earned $760 back for our school! 💙💛

We are so grateful for our amazing community for showing up, grabbing dinner (and probably a few slushes), and supporting MMES!

And a big thank you to Sonic of Phoenix Community Partners for partnering with us! ❤️💙

Calling all Mercury Mine mini chefs!

Sticky Fingers Cooking is back this fall with hands-on after-school cooking classes for our K–5th grade students! Kids will make wholesome recipes, explore global flavors, and learn about nutrition, geography, languages, and STEAM—all while having a ton of fun in the kitchen.

Thursdays | 3:20–4:20 PM

Fall 1: September 3–October 8
Fall 2: November 5–December 17

Classes are 100% nut-free, allergy-friendly, and open to all abilities.

Join us Thursday, August 27 at 7 PM as the Phoenix Mercury take on the Washington Mystics! Even better, our group gets to arrive early and watch the Mercury during pregame warmups from 5:30–6 PM — such a fun experience for the kids!
