Colorado Blue Spruce 🤍
When I first started exploring Colorado through the lens of scent, this one felt like a no-brainer. The OG of the Colorado Collection.
The Colorado blue spruce is the state tree, and its silvery-blue needles are found throughout the Rocky Mountains and foothills (where I’ve spent the most time exploring).
This scent sent me down a rabbit hole. At first glance, spruce, pine, and fir all smell like “evergreens.” The more I explored, the more I realized they each have their own personality.
Spruce feels crisp and sharp to me… like crisp mountain air, forest trails, and winter.
When you smell a blue spruce, pine, or fir tree, do they smell different to you? And if so, how would you describe the difference?
P.s. Did you know the blue color of a blue spruce comes from a waxy coating on the needles that helps protect the tree from Colorado’s harsh mountain climate? Nature is so cool.
The Naked Fig Soap Company
Soaps & Such
This spring, I had the opportunity to work alongside Emma as we tested new manufacturing systems, streamlined processes, and made a LOT of soap.
Emma finished out her senior year at ASU and is headed off to California for her dream internship with Disney, and we are SO excited for her 🤍
I’m incredibly grateful for the time we had with her at Naked Fig. She stepped in during a season when I really needed help and quickly became an important part of the team. Emma is dependable, efficient, and genuinely invested in supporting the work around her.
One of my favorite parts of working with Emma was getting to hear about her senior projects and watch her pursue her own goals at the same time she was helping us move ours forward.
She made being a boss easy, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything she contributed during her time here.
Wishing you the absolute best, Emma 🤍

Next week, the Colorado Collection is heading home 🤍
A year ago, I released the Colorado Collection as a way to capture places and memories that felt uniquely Colorado: Rocky Mountain foothills, western slopes, spring snowmelt, mountain roses, and the iconic blue spruce.
Next week, these soaps will be coming with me as we return to Golden for ARTSWEEK.
Before we hit the road, I want to reintroduce each scent and share a little of the story behind it.
Colorado friends, I’ll see you soon 🤍

We are in California for Art Fair Pasadena 2026 this weekend (Sat + Sun), and one of my big goals while being here is to photograph the new California Collection in its element.
First stop: Santa Monica Beach
We got there about an hour before sunset, walked down to the water, and I had just placed the California bar in the sand…
…and a guy walking by asked if we wanted a photo.
I asked if he’d be open to shooting the product instead, and without hesitation he said yes and got to work.
(Dylan) worked magic.
“Kairos” means the right moment. Not planned or scheduled… just the kind that shows up and everything clicks into place.
The kind of timing you can’t plan, only recognize when you’re in it. That’s EXACTLY what this felt like.
I originally planned to hold all of these and share everything at once… BUT I’m so excited and had to share this one tonight haha.
Very serendipitous.
And shoutout to for all the BTS 🤍

SRP 🤍
Some partnerships feel especially meaningful.
Salt River Project has been part of Arizona for generations… and in a quieter way, part of my own story too.
We developed a custom Arizona-shaped mold with the SRP logo built directly into each bar.
Each soap is hand-poured in Phoenix using scents inspired by Arizona landscapes — the same places SRP has helped support over time. Paired with custom-labeled packaging, every detail was designed to feel intentional.
I’ve also had the chance to be part of their employee appreciation markets, which has made this partnership even more special 🤍
Aaaaand… is one of the best cheerleaders and connectors I know. I’m inspired by how she shows up and advocates for women-owned businesses.
Grateful for the trust and collaboration.
