We are proud to share that our Dean, Dr. Meredith Critchfield, recently presented at the AACTE Washington Week conference in Washington, D.C.!

Dr. Critchfield led a session on "Introduction to Advocacy," helping educator preparation leaders explore the importance of advocacy in advancing the teaching profession and shaping educational policy. Her presentation highlighted how educators can effectively engage with policymakers, share their expertise, and advocate for the needs of students, schools, and communities.

At the GCU College of Education, we believe educators have a powerful voice in shaping the future of education. We are grateful for Dr. Critchfield's leadership and her commitment to preparing and empowering educators to make a difference both inside and outside the classroom.
