Today, we made a fort to read under and it was so much fun! Then my student asked if they could take a picture of me! 🥴 “Sure!” I said. Then, I realized how lucky I am to have great students with great families for Valentine’s Day!❤️

Ended the week with making edible playdough to help us learn! It might have been a Pinterest fail 😂🤷🏼‍♀️🤫, but it was SO fun getting dirty and it actually smelled so good 🍭

🔍I really liked this visual to help students to remember the direction of the letters. 🙌🏻

🔍 Backwards writing and letter reversals are very common in the early stages of writing when the orthographic representation (forming letters in spelling) is not fully developed. 📝

When everyone shows up matching colors and nail color and it wasn't even planned!!🤣😜. It made for a very fun day!
