Cordova Elementary School

There is nothing like kicking the ball around with your friends during recess! Our Cobras have amazing comradery, they spend every recess playing soccer with anyone who wants to play.

Badminton is a sport that is played in fifth grade, our fourth graders were excited to get a small sample of it today during PE this afternoon.

Thursday night was Cordova's, Spring Fling. We had a petting zoo, Kona Ice, face painting, balloon twisting, and lots of games. Our choir and cheer team even performed!

Thank you so much to all of our amazing staff for putting on such an amazing Spring Fling!

Our Spring Fling is happening TONIGHT! We are so excited and are looking forward to seeing all of our families. Come on out for lots of fun! We look forward to seeing all of you!

This past Friday Alhambra's amazing Child Nutrition Team brought their smoothie bike over to Cordova. Our fourth graders learned about the importance of fueling and staying active. Every student got the chance to try out the smoothie bike as well as sample a sweet "nice cream" treat.

Last Friday a member from our Alhambra Child Nutrition Team came by Ms. Savlov's 5th grade class where they made ice cream out of fruit using the smoothie bike. The kid's absolutely loved it and had so much fun.

What a morning! Today was the Alhambra and Isaac Elementary school district cheer competition and our Cobras did a phenomenal job! We placed in 2 of the 3 divisions and won 2nd place overall.
