We've got some big news to share with you.

Iā€™m so thrilled to share that G@WC members report getting promotions and pay raises at a 40% increase on average. Swipe to see some of the reported increases.

One member closed the gender pay gap in her industry. Her $33,000 salary jumped to $55,000 in one negotiation, and that excites us!

We love taking the time to pause, reflect and celebrate wins (big and small). What wins are you celebrating?

Career growth driven by your employer leads your career within the container of the company's positions and opportunities. I bet your vision is more significant than that!

That is one of the many reasons you should own your professional development. Your employer can engage and even empower you, but you should be the one in the driver's seat of your career.

Are you ready for some big truth bombs? šŸ§Ø Let's dive in.

While there are stacks of myths and misconceptions about career growth out there, we're here to set the facts straight.

Today, we're running you through three things you might not know about what we do:

Truth 1ļøāƒ£ Career growth and professional development don't have to take a lot of time and energy.

Truth 2ļøāƒ£ Being seen and appreciated by your peers and leaders at work can be easy.

Truth 3ļøāƒ£ You can sit in the driver's seat of your career and feel supported by growth-minded peers and mentors.

Did any of these honest truths surprise you? Let me know in the comments!

Did life throw a wrench in your plans? Weā€™ve been thereā€¦ more times than we can count. Sometimes lifeā€™s unexpected breakdowns offer even better outcomes than we initially thought possible. In fact, with a mindset that life is happening for us instead of to us, each experience has gifted us with one more tool to support a healthy perspective in the future!ā
ā
Here are 3 ā€œmindset toolsā€ weā€™ve added to our business ā€œtoolboxā€ recently: ā
ā
Resilience: I can get up and pivot as many times as it takesā
ā
Resourcefulness: we are discovering new ways to do things.ā
ā
Collaboration: asking for support is healthy and can even be fun!ā
ā
Weā€™re curious: do you consider lifeā€™s unexpected twists and turns to be just another useful ā€œmindset toolā€ added to your ā€œtool kitā€? Like this post, if you agree!
