What an incredible evening at Madrid’s Spring Showcase! 🌟🎶🎨

Last night, our students from Kindergarten through 8th grade took the stage and truly shined as they performed songs from favorite movies including Trolls, The Greatest Showman, High School Musical, Annie, and many more! Our students showcased not only their talents and hard work, but also their confidence and leadership in front of a packed audience.

Families also had the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful display of artwork created throughout the year in our art classes. It was wonderful seeing our students proudly sharing their creativity and celebrating their learning.

A very special thank you goes out to Ms. Albright and Ms. Valdez for all of their hard work, planning, and dedication in making this event such a success. Your efforts helped create an unforgettable evening for our students and families.

We have lots to celebrate at Madrid! 🎉 This week, we recognized our students who scored Proficient on one or more of our end-of-year benchmark assessments, including DBA, AZELLA, and FastBridge Reading & Math, at our annual Proficiency Pancake Celebration!

Students enjoyed a morning filled with smiles and sweetness as they built their own pancakes with whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate chips, and plenty of delicious toppings! 🥞🍫✨

We also had a very special celebration for our students who earned a PERFECT score on one of these assessments! These students were invited to be recognized at our Governing Board Meeting, where they received a Certificate of Honor in recognition of their outstanding achievement and hard work. 🌟

We are incredibly proud of all of our students for their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to learning. Your hard work continues to make Madrid shine. Congratulations Mustangs — keep striving for excellence! 💙💛

Every day, they serve more than just meals. They serve kindness, patience, and care to every student who walks through the line. From early mornings to busy lunch shifts, they work tirelessly to ensure our students are taken care of and feel welcomed.

Their positive attitudes and dedication help create a warm and supportive environment in our cafeteria, and we are so grateful for the impact they make on our school community each and every day.

Our Madrid MESA Club had an incredible experience this past weekend competing at the University of Arizona! 🎉 Students took on both the glider and fan boat competitions, putting their creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to the test alongside schools from across the state.

While we didn’t bring home a win this time, our students walked away with something even more valuable—new strategies, fresh ideas, and a deeper understanding of how to strengthen their designs for next year. Their perseverance, collaboration, and willingness to learn truly made us proud!

Way to represent Madrid with Mustang pride! 💙 We can’t wait to see how these future engineers take what they learned and come back even stronger! 🚀

Yesterday we celebrated Administrative Professionals Day, and we couldn’t miss the chance to recognize our amazing front office team. These incredible women truly hold down the fort, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes every single day.

They are the backbone of Madrid, and without them, we simply wouldn’t function. Your dedication, care, and hard work never go unnoticed, thank you for all that you do! ✨

We are so grateful for our amazing parent volunteers at Madrid! 💙 Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating YOU with a special lunch from Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant, and it was filled with so much fun, laughter, and smiles.

Today we had the pleasure of celebrating one of our incredible cafeteria team members, Guadalupe! She is such an important part of our Madrid community, bringing kindness, warmth, and positivity to our campus each and every day.

Guadalupe does so much more than serve meals—she builds relationships with our students, greets them with a smile, and helps create a welcoming environment where everyone feels cared for. Her dedication and heart truly make a difference in the daily experience of our Mustangs.

CALLING ALL ARCHITECTS:

8th grade is really paying attention to details as they dive into geometric constructions. From bisecting angles to creating parallel lines, they are learning to use all the tools of the trade.
