It’s been busy in the best way! ✨ I’ve been reflecting on the Community Ambassador program under office that I have spent the last year learning and growing from. ⭐️ My favorite part of this program is how much I have been able to learn from my fellow Ambassadors, some who are high school and college university students. To see and hear young people who are so civically engaged, so in tune with what is happening in the world, and who have the desire to change the world at such a young age. It’s been refreshing, I am excited to see what the next generation of leaders will do in this world. 🌎💪🏽🏆 Major shout out to for his leadership under this program.

Such a bittersweet day yesterday, meeting for our last Saturday for our Adelante fellowship with I am grateful that in a time of deep grief in my life, that I was able to tap in to community and community work. 🔨They say grief is love with nowhere to go. With my grief, I chose to find places for it to go. 👼🏽🌈 Forever grateful for this energized group of leaders, for mentors and coaches that gave me the representation I NEEDED to see to run for school board. This is not the end, there is so much more to come!

Es una gran bendición a poder compartir mi historia como la primera generación de mi familia para graduar de la universidad, terminar mi Master’s degree, y mi licencia profesional para enseñar. 👩🏽‍🎓🎓👩🏽‍🏫 Espero que mi historia puede ayudar la próxima generación. Somos trabajadores, somos capaz, estamos aquí, y estoy orgullosa de ser parte de un movimiento más grande de yo misma. Gracias siempre a mi mami y mi papi por su amor 💪🏽♥️🇵🇷
