🇺🇸 WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

Today, the Core 5 family pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

25 years later, we continue to honor their memory and remember the courage, sacrifice, unity, and strength our country showed in the days that followed.

As a community built around families and the next generation, may we continue teaching our young people the importance of service, gratitude, courage, and coming together for one another.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

These are the days we’ll remember. ❤️🏈

What a way to kick off our Fall 2026 season at Paloma!

From the team introductions and tunnel… to the potluck, music, face painting, photo booth, sponsors, touchdowns, high-fives and families coming together. This day was about so much more than football.

💕It was about community. 💕

To every player who stepped onto the field, every parent and family member who showed up, every coach who volunteered their time, every referee and staff member who helped make the day possible 🌟THANK YOU.❤️

And a special thank you to our community partners, Spooner Physical Therapy Lund Mortgage and Buffalo Wild Wings Tru Dental, for joining us and helping make Opening Day even more special.

We also know it was an exceptionally hot Arizona day, and we are incredibly appreciative of the patience, flexibility and support our families and coaches showed throughout it.

As we celebrate 10 years of Core 5 and our 16th season here at Paloma, days like this are a reminder of why we started.

Kids competing.
Coaches encouraging.
Parents connecting.
Families making memories.

This is Core 5.

Sometimes you don’t know if an idea is going to work until you finally see it come to life. ❤️

I’ll never forget our first Core 5 game day.

I was nervous about everything.

Would the teams know where to go? Would the coaches understand everything? Would parents enjoy the experience? Would we actually be able to pull this off?

Then everything started.

And somewhere in the middle of answering questions, helping coaches and trying to keep everything moving, I stopped for a moment and looked around.

Kids were smiling.

Coaches were encouraging their players.

Parents were meeting each other.

Families were coming together.

That’s when I realized Core 5 was becoming more than an idea.

It was becoming a community. ❤️

10 years later, that’s still what we want every child and every family who joins us to feel—that they’re part of something special.

The work you don’t always get to see. 👀🏈

Before the first whistle blows… there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes.

📦 Equipment arriving.
👕 Uniforms being unpacked and organized.
🏈 Game-day supplies being prepared.
❤️ And our team working to make sure everything is ready for our families.

We may be a small team behind the scenes, but we put a lot of heart into creating the best experience we can for our Core 5 community.

Fall 2026 is coming together—and we can’t wait to see these fields filled with players again.

This is so sad.. This is a great reason why prolonging tackle football before high school and avoiding the extra contact is essential.

The Core 5 Story | Part 2 🏈❤️

Starting Core 5 was one thing.

Figuring out how to actually build it was a completely different story.

There was no blueprint. Just an idea we believed in, a willingness to learn, and a community that gave us an opportunity to grow.

10 years later, it’s pretty incredible to look back at where it all started and everything that happened along the way.
