I am pretty proud of my house! In ceramics, you never know if something you worked endless hours on will survive the two firings in the kiln. This house took me half of the semester so I am pretty happy to have it home. It was inspired by my own historic tutor home that I love so very much. 🥰 I have found deep healing in ceramics. It helps me further heal from perfectionism and the need for things to be predictable. And working in a class with a strong, supportive community is such a treasure. Never in the past would I have made something big enough that people could see my work from across the room. Shrinking to stay small and not be seen or heard has become a thing of the past. ❤️‍🩹 Art is therapy. ✨💫⭐️

I received a new book in the mail! 💌 Looking forward to diving into this workbook. I am certified in Polyvagal Theory for Yoga by the author, and believe this workbook is going to support that training and provide me with more knowledge to share with you! 🧠💪

My family used to use “I love you” as a salutation when completing a phone call. If you didn’t get the “I love you” you knew they were upset with you. It was used as a manipulation tool, not a proclamation of feelings with any level of truth to it. 💔 I am kinda obsessed with .r.vigilance content right now. Having become aware I was dealing with Narcissists 25 years ago and going deep down these rabbit holes, the guy speak my language. This quote really hit. Partly because of the way he delivered it and also because I was speaking with my adult son over the weekend about how someone who we know said they were sure a diagnosed Narcissist loved them. I was explaining to him that it wasn’t even possible. They will say it to manipulate someone, but they don’t have the ability to have those feelings.
