Junior Achievement of Arizona had a simulation last week for their Money in Motion program. A for Arizona is proud to invest in a program that aims to empower students in rural schools throughout Arizona to plan for their financial futures and achieve economic success. 💰

Through the JA Money in Motion program, students from kindergarten to 12th grade engage in a simulation-based experience that brings financial concepts to life. They work closely with dedicated volunteers and put their knowledge into practice by creating personal budgets. 🏦

This program also offers customizable curriculum options, led by educators, to enhance the students' learning experience. By participating in JA Money in Motion, students gain valuable takeaways such as understanding budget categories, prioritizing spending, comprehending taxes and their impact, creating budgets based on hypothetical scenarios, and exploring the pros and cons of credit and debit card usage. They also get to explore various career paths and income potentials. 🎓

Introducing a “walking school bus” has provided a supervised and secure means for students residing within a few blocks of the school to walk to school each day. This innovative approach has alleviated the concerns of parents, enabling them to maintain employment while ensuring their children's safe and timely arrival at school. Kids look forward to walking to school with their friends and peers! The result? Lower rates of absenteeism, improved academic performance, and time with their friends before and after school!
