Did you know children learn how to write before they learn how to read? 🤯 In a Montessori classroom, writing is generally “taught” and focused on before reading. That’s because children generally develop the motor skills needed for writing much earlier than reading. Also, the sensitive period for writing is between 3–5 , while reading is between 4–6. The more you know!
