🖤🩷🩵 SPARTAN WEEK 5 RECAP & LOOK AHEAD! 🩵🩷🖤
What a GREAT week for the Spartans! 🔥⚔️

Last week, our Sophomores stepped up and served our community at Nourish Phoenix! 🥫🤝 We also saw improved performances from both our Soccer ⚽ and Volleyball 🏐 teams, along with great effort and determination during our Fall Benchmark Testing! 📚💯

That hard work is exactly what RESPONSIBILITY looks like! 💗

Our Spartans showed responsibility by:
✅ Working hard on their benchmark testing
✅ Taking care of their commitments
✅ Following through—even when things got tough
✅ Giving their best effort and doing their part for the team

🏐⚽ THIS WEEK IS ANOTHER BIG ONE! ⚽🏐
🏐 Two HOME Volleyball Games
⚽ A HOME Soccer Match
🤝 Freshman Community Service at Nourish Phoenix — Thursday Morning

Let's keep bringing the energy, supporting one another, and showing what it means to be a Spartan! 🖤🩷🩵

WAY TO GO, SPARTANS! 👏🔥

💗 Character Trait of the Month: RESPECT
We continue to look for Respect throughout our building, and we are seeing it develop in our students every day. The way our Spartans respond to adults and interact with one another is a testament to the hard work and support of our families at home and the adults in our buildings. We are proud of the culture we are building together!

Spartans, let's make it a great one! 🛡️🔥

08/06/2026

It was so exciting to see the Spartans in full force the last two days! We had a great kick-off assembly where we went over key information for all students about our core values and our VF7 programs that help make VFA unique!

The teachers' rooms were dialed in, and relationships, routines, and procedures were front and center! Here's to a great first day of school and many more to come! Don't forget, the first day of Girls Volleyball and Boys Soccer is Thursday, August 6th, so be sure you come ready for practice if you plan to participate!
