Leadership in online education means being part of the conversations shaping the future of learning.
Proud to see President representing Lone Star College-Online as a featured panelist during the May 21 webinar, “Rethinking Cognitive Offloading: When AI Helps and When It Hurts,” hosted by Kyron Learning.
The conversation challenged higher education leaders to rethink teaching, learning, and student agency in the AI era.
One key perspective shared by Dr. Morales:
“AI provides an avenue for students to learn what they want to learn… creating more space for personalized learning and student agency.”
These are the conversations shaping the future of online education, and we are proud to help lead them.
At LSC-Online, culture is built through people, purpose, and meaningful connection.
This week’s session, From Burnout to Breakthrough, reminded us that supporting student success also means supporting the teams behind it.
Grateful for leadership that continues investing in professional growth, resilience, and community across LSC-Online. Thank you Dr. Henry Kasonde Musoma for an inspiring conversation.
We are proud of you, Dragons! 🐉
Class of 2026, you did it! Your hard work, resilience, and dedication brought you to this moment.
Today, we celebrate you and this historic milestone together. 🎓

What does a 97% faculty certification rate mean for students?
It means consistency. It means standards. It means every student in an LSC-Online course is learning from an educator who has demonstrated mastery in online instruction.
Lone Star College–Online recently launched our redesigned Online Teaching Certification (OTC) program, a renewable, three-level framework grounded in Quality Matters, Universal Design for Learning, and the Community of Inquiry model.
Online education is only as strong as the faculty delivering it. We're proud to be raising that bar.
