Operating as usual

Our students have been hard at work for the past few weeks preparing for their big showcase event on Friday afternoon here at the school; and you’re invited!

Please plan to join us as we look to learn about different countries from North and South America and celebrate our learning.

This past week our cheerleaders performed alongside the MIT High School cheerleaders! It was a warm afternoon, but our team helped bring the school spirit!

Huge shout out to all the cheerleaders, Coach Montiel, our parent volunteers and for everyone who came out to support. It was a great community event connecting our two schools.

Our Pocky Stick donation came from My Special World, which is a non-profit group run by Brandon Riggs https://myspecialworld.org/

He shared his goal is to bring smiles to young people and promote an active lifestyle in a fun and engaging way. We're hopeful to bring Brandon back this school year to do some assemblies for our students. He has a positive message and a great heart.

He donated approximately 18,000 pocky sticks to the district and we made sure all of our students were able to get a box to take home. Thank you, Brandon!

RTS Cheerleading Tryouts - August 28th!

Save the Date! 📆

Join us for a Parent Informational Meeting with families from both Riverside and Kings Ridge Prep. The event will be held at the Kings Ridge Cafeteria.

August 31 from 5 - 7 PM.

"What's for breakfast?" is a question that can be heard throughout most homes in America. To some parents it can be a dreaded question; especially in the rush to get everyone out the door to school on time. We have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so what do we feed our kids for this ever important meal?

Studies published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association and Nutrition Research Reviews have proven that children who eat a good breakfast perform better academically then those who don't.
