Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote in today's school budget referendum. We appreciate the community's participation and support throughout this process.

The proposed 2026-2027 school budget was approved by voters.

With voter approval, the budget is now officially adopted for the 2026-2027 school year. This allows us to move forward with planning and preparations for the upcoming school year while continuing to focus on providing high-quality educational opportunities for every student.

On behalf of the MSAD 58 School Board and staff, thank you to everyone who participated in the process. We appreciate the thoughtful conversations, questions, and feedback we received throughout this year's budget development. Community engagement is an important part of ensuring we continue to meet the needs of our students while being responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.

We look forward to another successful school year and thank our communities for their continued support of MSAD 58.

Good afternoon,

As a reminder, our annual budget hearing will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Abram High School. During this meeting, community members will have the opportunity to review and vote on individual budget articles, which may be approved as presented or amended through the voting process. The library will be open and available for childcare during the meeting. We hope you are able to attend and participate in this important step in our budget process.

It’s been almost one week since graduation and we hope you all are doing well! For the rest of us, our last day is Monday and it’s a half day! Take care MSAD 58 Community! Thanks to Phillips Elementary School, Kingfield Elementary School, Day Mountain Regional Middle School, and Stratton School Department for collaborating on this!
