Please see the attached fliers for the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) in Wisconsin and share with your parents/caregivers, and register yourself! Triple P is supported by Children’s WI, the Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board, and the Department of Children and Families. Check it out!

Now, you can do Triple P programs online, at no cost. Give your kids of all ages key life skills and help the whole family stay calm and positive.
What to expect:
• Easy-to-use online programs with videos and fun interactive learning.
• Each module only takes about an hour or less. You can do them in just a few minutes at a time.
• Do it on your phone, computer, or tablet, when you can.

The fourth grade class entered an essay contest across Wisconsin where they had to write about a fruit that is grown in Wisconsin and its importance. Aleah Krueger won third place, Evelyn Writz won second place, and Colton Morrone won first place. Colton will have his essay sent to Madison to compete in the next round of the contest!

Elementary Families,
As many of you are aware, Mrs. Mary, our reading calendar queen, has retired. Mrs. Edwards and I decided that this was a good time to change it up a bit in regards to our family-home summer reading program. We will not be sending reading calendars home this summer. We are working on some fun new activities for next year…..stay tuned!
If your family really enjoys the stability of reading calendars during the summer, our local library has some fun summer reading incentives. Check them out!!

Today was the last day of school, or the last day at PES, for these awesome people!
Ms Julie (kitchen staff), Mrs. Mary (interventionist), Dave Scholz (principal and teacher) are heading into retirement!
Mrs. Beard, Ms. Brianna, Ms. Corbett, and Miss Kosmer are off to a new adventure!
We will miss them all!

Just a reminder that this Friday, May 24th, is the scheduled last day of school for students, and an early dismissal day. School will dismiss at 12:45 on Friday, and 12:45 is also the parent pick up time. Have a happy summer!

May Reading Calendars

The May reading calendars are due on Friday. Some children are one month away from being invited to the Pizza Party to celebrate meeting the yearly goal, so please be sure your child turns in the calendar on Friday. Thank you!
