The Prentice DARE Program had 15 students graduate this year. For their final day they got hang out with Deputy Hickerson and his personal dog Porter. The kids were a great class and had lots of fun!

The Price County Sheriff's Office is putting on the Coppers and Whoppers fishing event again this year! This was a great event last year and we hope to see even more participantion this year. Any questions can be directed to Deputy Joel Eder at the Sheriff's Office.

Fifty students have successfully completed the D.A.R.E program in the School District of Phillips! The students and Deputy Hickerson had a blast throughout the class. Students got to celebrate by having a small party, getting certificates and prizes, and a movie day! Prentice School will be finishing their program shortly as well.

Tomorrow is the start of the Price County Fair. Head out to the fair for a fun filled weekend and while you're there, be sure to stop by the Price County Sheriff's Office booth! If a Deputy is not there, feel free to help yourself to some of the fun items put out but, please be courteous of others as supplies are limited. Have a fun and safe fair weekend!

The K9 fundraiser for Price County K9 Kane and Price County K9 Dixon has been changed to August 24th, 11a-2p. We changed the date to avoid conflict with the Red Apple Center, who are having their fundraiser on August 10th. We apologize for any inconvenience. See you all on August 24th, 11a-2p.

Cops and Whoppers turned out great this year. The kids caught fish, had some pizza, and the rain held off. Special thanks to our sponsors Bader's Sports Center, Ross's Sport Shop and Guide Service, Elk River Rods & Outfitters, St. Croix Rods, and Kwik Trip.

You may have seen the D.A.R.E car driving around Phillips this evening. It needed a little fresh air after sitting all winter. If it's not too hot, it will make an appearance in the Phillips 4th of July parade!
