Mrs. Grant’s class read “That Book Woman” during wit and wisdom. Students acted out the story by acting like the book characters, Cal and Lark! We got to read just like Cal by pretending we were reading our book with our feet up, relaxing like we are on the mountain home porch! Then, students had fun singing to describe our characters feelings when the character overcame a big problem!

Mrs. Gairo's Kindergarten class earned their class reward of extra recess! We had so much fun playing basketball, throwing a football and climbing!

Mrs. Bereznyak's students created “Panicked Pumpkins”🎃 to visually demonstrate cervical dilation from 1 cm to 10 cm. They measured, carved, cleaned, and decorated their pumpkins before lining them up to see the dramatic changes that occur during labor. Students had fun carving and connecting anatomy and childbirth to our Human Development curriculum! 👶🎃
