Sensory play is a must!!! If young learners are not exposed to many types of safe play materials, they could lack sensory intelligence.
What is sensory intelligence?
It is based on primitive, unconscious brain-body responses: Our brain responds to the millions of sensory messages we receive through an individual filtering process. This facilitates all daily responses and/or actions.
We build, analyze, and if it falls...we try again!
Love the sound of the excitement and enthusiasm of these young learners playing and building. Great job!
As the year comes to an end, we'd like to thank our wonderful teachers who make all the difference in our children's lives! This past year, we focused on recovery, living the new normal, and practicing every way to keep our close ones safe and healthy.
We wish you all happy holidays and a happy new year!
Group activities all around during the afternoon!
Preschool-age children will inevitably run into hurdles working with each other. By overcoming these bumps with the teacher's help, they will be developing cooperation skills, conversation skills, learning how to work as a team, and working on sharing and compromising.
A little late, but would love to show you what our little ones dressed up as for Halloween! They chose a favorite book and dressed as the main character in the story. HOW CUTE!!!!!
A walk in the park with our toddlers! They loved being able to run around in the leaves with friends and feel the crisp air in their fair!
Let's make learning fun by using various types of materials that help children expand their thinking and increase vocabulary!
Free play encourages cognitive development and a child's ability to solve problems. Children learn to solve problems for themselves. Their brain thrives on the challenge!
Creativity and imagination flow, they develop their own thinking skills and invent interesting and different ways of resolving situations.
Can't get over our Beakstalk family photos! We love you so much and THANK YOU for being AWESOME!
Happy Fall!!!! We want to share some of our favorite fall literature with you and hope you and your family will love them too! :). Below, you will find the link to each book to purchase!

Free playtime with friends! We always encourage our preschoolers to use their imagination and communicate with friends during playtime. There are no rules when playing! BUT, always remember to share :).
Creating mosaic art using beads and bottle tops! We love using recycled materials and making them purposeful for our students. They had so much for creating and collaborating with their classmates.
Making art with stones and shells! 😄 Letting kids experiment with mixed materials when creating art, allows them to see how various materials and placement make a difference, and create a purpose.
Under the sea costume day! How creative and fun are these costumes?!?! Our preschoolers are definitely doing GREAT showing off their favorite sea animals 😄.
Arts and crafts with the preschoolers! Making turtles with construction papers and practicing cutting, pattern making, and layering 😄.
What a creative experiment experience with our preschoolers! We added colored water into a zip lock bag and pulled it through a whole of a paper plate. This taught us about suction and how air is removed.
Great science experiment for preschool learners and up!
Testing the difference between water and oil!
What will happen to the painted letters when it touches water or oil?
TRY THIS AT HOME! Great science experiment for preschool and up. 😄
We learned a lot about the water cycle and how we can help help save more water and the earth!
DID YOU KNOW!?
The water cycle, also known as the hydrologic cycle or the hydrological cycle, is a biogeochemical cycle that describes the continuous movement of water on, above, and below the surface of the Earth. The mass of water on Earth remains fairly constant over time but the partitioning of the water into the major reservoirs of ice, fresh water, saline water (Salt Water), and atmospheric water is variable depending on a wide range of climatic variables. The water moves from one reservoir to another, such as from river to ocean, or from the ocean to the atmosphere, by the physical processes of ev***ration, condensation, precipitation, infiltration, surface runoff, and subsurface flow. In doing so, the water goes through different forms: liquid, solid (ice), and v***r.

Teamwork makes the dream work! Building together and collaborating is key to making great things happen 😁
Learning our letters and counting our numbers....while also being creative! At these centers, we've encouraged our preschoolers to make letters using various shapes, following the stencil templates. The learns also used boxes to count their numbers and identify the number of objects to go along with it!
In a third station, some learners were using their imagination and creative insights with play-doh!
Learning about caterpillars and observing them!
Did you know that caterpillars have 12 eyes and produce silk?
We also make our own caterpillar using popsicle sticks and yarn. We wrapped it around and added googly eyes 😍
Drawing outside! 😄 On a beautiful sunny day, we spend the afternoon by our garden and draw our brilliant plants.
Watering our vegetable plants! We are learning to take care of nature as best as we can. With growing our own veggies, we are making sure to provide lots of water and sunshine! Our preschoolers are doing an amazing job!
Painting our own planting pots outdoors! Our Preschoolers had so much fun getting creative by designing plant pots with different colors and shapes.
This is a great activity to include at home. If you have leftover large white containers, all you need is paintbrushes and paint. Let your child(ren) use their imagination to make a colorful new plant pot for your home! 😁.
We had such a great time on Friday celebrating Memorial Day weekend! Thank you to all of our AMAZING Beanstalk families who were able to join us for a beautiful outdoor lunch!!!!!😄😄😄😄
Painting trees to fill the world with more green!
This is a great painting activity with preschoolers that can be done at home with ease. All you need is a medium to large size cut-out tree shape and a poster board. Paint the tree with shades of green and glue it onto a colorful poster board. Once dry, be sure to hang it up somewhere special 😄
DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR RESUME!
We love to encourage our learners to play with blocks. Blocks help children learn about architecture and engineering. As they play, they use their imagination and figure out what shapes to use and how to assemble them. Children also increase their vocabulary as they build, by explaining what block should go where, how tall or short it needs to be, and describing the purpose of the structure.
We've ended the month of April with lots of fun in the sun, planting, painting, and playing with dirt! We hope to do more outdoor activities as the weather gets warmer and sunnier 😄.
Contact us for childcare information and enrollment!
Group painting activities are the best. The young artists get to chat and share their ideas about what are you are painting. This is a great way to encourage creating thinking, vocabulary development, and social engagement :).
SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THIS SPRING!
We are getting ready to do some gardening and plant some flowers. We have been learning a lot about different types of plants and how they grow. But, before we plant our seeds, we made sure to play with some soil and get our hands dirty! 😄😄😄
