Archbishop Ryan High School

Last Thursday, we celebrated the generous supporters who make a lasting impact on the Archbishop Ryan community at our President’s Donor Appreciation Reception. ❤💛🖤

A highlight of the evening was hearing from two of our students, Rufina and Julian, who shared how their experiences at Ryan have shaped their lives. Along with performances by our student musicians and the warm hospitality of our Student Ambassadors, their stories served as a powerful reminder of what matters most: our students. The opportunities that help them grow and thrive are at the heart of everything we do.

As we celebrate 60 years of Ryan, we’re building on a proud tradition of excellence while creating new opportunities for future generations. To everyone who continues to believe in our mission and invest in our students, thank you for supporting Archbishop Ryan’s future by not only giving back, but, as President Joe Sanginiti shared, giving forward. ❤💛🖤

Practicing an important life skill: public speaking!
Mr. Wurtenberg’s Public Speaking students recently gave how-to presentations, teaching their classmates skills they know well. Even something as simple as tying a tie teaches a greater lesson: each presentation offered an opportunity to practice clear communication, build confidence, and learn to address a room.

And of course, every presentation ended with a round of applause! ❤💛🖤

On Friday, Ryan students joined more than 1,200 students and educators from across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for a special Mass celebrating the Sacred Heart of Jesus, celebrated by Archbishop Pérez at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

Our Faith in Action students attended the Mass, and members of our chorus joined students from across the Archdiocese in the choir for the celebration. The combined choir was directed by our very own Chorus Instructor and Theater Director, Mr. Vince DiFrancesco!

We’re honored to have represented Ryan at this beautiful celebration, joining our fellow Catholic schools as one community united in faith! ❤💛🖤

We were proud to host The Bridge Educational Foundation for a special event celebrating its investment in Philadelphia students and families! ❤💛🖤

During a special event hosted at Archbishop Ryan, the foundation announced $481,250 in scholarships through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) programs. These programs help make a Catholic education possible for more students and families in our community.

We were proud to welcome local students, educators, faith leaders, and local representatives to celebrate this important investment in our students’ futures. Thank you to The Bridge Educational Foundation and the generous donors who help open doors to educational opportunities across our region!
