I saw this momma sea lion at the Santa Cruz, CA wharf yesterday and I recognized this feeling.
Happy Mother's Day to all of you wishing for a little more space and also to those feeling nostalgic and craving more days squished beneath little kid hugs.
We're celebrating with each and every one of you!
(Hey Jen...Why were you in Santa Cruz yesterday? I took a little 1 hour detour to put my feet in the Pacific Ocean after a teacher training and before the red eye home to PA.... totally worth it. Next time I'll ride the ocean front gondola!!)

Come create with us at this new collaborative arts festival that celebrates LARGE, wacky ideas, with surprising materials and wild amounts of color. You'll contribute to PopUpPlay's GIANT temporary Sculpture Garden and have the chance to perform at our Cherry Street's Got Talent kids show.

Come light up the city! PopUpPlay is hosting our first ever Lantern Parade on the waterfront.
Come to Cherry Street Pier on April 25th from 6:30-8:30.
From 6:30-7:45 We'll build lanterns, glowing monster puppets and creatures, and light up cardboard floats (there's even a dragon!!) 🐉
From 7:45-8:10 ish DJ Frost will lead an awesome glowing Dance Party
From 8:10-8:30 Mad Beatz Philly will lead you on a glowing parade through Cherry Street and Race Street Pier.
