Senior shoutout! 🎓
Meet Madeline Wanzer, LSUAM's spring intern. Madeline majored in history with minors in art history, philosophy, political science, and Spanish. She has worked in almost every aspect of the museum, including installs and research!
When asked what her favorite artwork was, it took her a moment to decide, but she ultimately chose Wheatfield with Church by Jacob van Ruisdael: "I love this painting's lighting, both covered in shadows but also filled with sunlight. Every time I look at it, I find a new detail like the shifting cloud and the figure walking down the lane." Congratulations class of 2026!

Meet Trang Nguyen, one of LSAUM’s student workers! Trang is a nursing major, and she has worked in almost every aspect of the museum, including event help, the front desk, or overall organization.
Her favorite artwork in the collection is Parsifal by Pinckney Marcius-Simons. She loves the use of light to illuminate the figures! Congratulations to all our 2026 grads!
