We’re excited to partner with Books Are Fun to encourage our little learners to fall in love with reading while building their very own home libraries! 📖❤️

From September 21st through October 2nd, our families can participate, earn prizes, and even have a chance to win some BIG rewards including a trip to Disney or a $100 shopping spree! 🎡🏰

📚 REMINDER, PFP ECDC FAMILIES!

People for People Early Childhood Development Center will be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday, August 14th, for Professional Development.

We believe that when our teachers grow, our children benefit! Professional development gives our educators dedicated time to strengthen their skills, learn new strategies, collaborate with one another, and stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

Our goal is to ensure that every child at PFP ECDC receives high-quality care and learning experiences from teachers who are equipped, supported, and continually growing in their profession.

Thank you to our families for allowing us this important time to learn, grow, and prepare so we can continue giving your children our very best!💚

At People for People Early Childhood Development Center, circle time is an important part of our children’s day. It’s more than sitting together, it’s an opportunity to learn, listen, communicate, connect, and grow! 📚✨

During circle time, our little learners build important skills such as taking turns, following directions, expressing their thoughts, listening to others, expanding vocabulary, and developing a sense of belonging within their classroom community.

And while they may think they’re simply singing songs, hearing stories, talking about the day, and having fun, they’re actually building foundational social-emotional, language, cognitive, and school-readiness skills that will support them for years to come. 🧠💛

This week, your child’s teacher will contact you to schedule a parent conference by phone or in person to discuss your child’s growth and development.

During the conference, teachers will review your child’s Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) results, celebrate their accomplishments, and discuss any areas of focus.

We encourage you to come prepared with any questions or observations you may have. We look forward to partnering with you to support your child’s continued success!

As the seasons change and temperatures rise, we want to help keep our little learners comfortable, clean, and ready for every adventure! 💛

Please make sure your child has:
👕 3 seasonally appropriate changes of clothing
🩲 Undergarments
🧦 Socks
💧 A labeled water bottle to keep at the center

Accidents, spills, messy play, and outdoor fun are all part of a joyful day of learning, so being prepared helps us care for your child with excellence! 🌟
