We have talked many times before about why we believe recess is an integral part of the day and should never be restricted. We recently had a chance to catch up with our favorite OT about her thoughts on recess!

Did you know that some schools are still considering recess a privilege, even with all we know about children, whole brain development and movement? Your IEP team can create an SDI around recess being required (never a privilege).

The advocacy tool pack teaches caregivers through examples, textual prompts and modeling how to advocate for their loved ones.

It has been our mission from the beginning not just to be a voice for those in need but to teach families how to advocate effectively in a way that is financially sustainable. 

While we still offer full service advocacy, we wanted to develop a product with a teaching component that was financially in reach for many families!

I am the Guest Editor for a Special Issue of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences. The topic for this special issue is “Social Communication Interventions for Individuals Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders."
